Research Interests

Leo’s research interest is to investigate species evolution with single cell sequencing teachnique and bioinformatics tools.

Current research projects

With current well-developed single cell RNA sequencing techniques and cell type evolutionary background knowlwdge, I can investigate how cell type evolution drives species evolution in single-cell resolution. My project mainly focuses on flying ablity and wing evolution of inseta class animals. I try to replenish evolutionary research system from the cell type evolution view.
